|Idea of fun||Watching bad movies or playing bad games is one of my favorite things to do. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy "good" media plenty, but being able to riff on an awful film with friends is a lot more social than just watching it.|
When I can manage it, I love to travel. My family has been doing it for as long as I can remember, and I make an effort to get out of the country every couple of years or so. One of my favorite things to do internationally is to visit some of the oldest historical sites in a country. Getting to see something like a 5000-year-old stone tomb in Ireland sort of dwarfs the historical scale of structures you can find in the US, which is awesome.
I'm always down for a good convention. I've been to a number of sci-fi, fantacy, and gaming cons over the years, but the only ones I consistently go to are Dragon Con in Atlanta and Arisia in Boston.
I'd say I'm a big fain of being able to hang out inside and watch some movies, play video games, and do a few board games, but I also try to keep a healthy balance of outdoor stuff. Much easier in the summer than it is now. Some of my favorites are kayaking, skateboarding, light hikes, and paintball.
I also have a lot of fun with creative/crafting projects. It's really cool being able to learn how to do something new and then putting it to practice to create something unique. My longer term creative projects are usually costume design (just hall-costume stuff, nothing contest worthy yet) animation, and model rocketry.
Big fan of live shows and music festivals too. They're a great excuse to get dancing.

|Always wanted to try||Skiing. I picked up skateboarding a few years ago and I figure snow sports can't be much harder... right?|
I'd also like to give another crack at surfing. Tried it once and mostly ended up with a face full of wave. Still fun though. I just wish New England beaches weren't so damn cold.
|Attend religious services||Never|
|Goal in life||To try to do the best that I can by other people, and hopefully have some sort of positive effect on the world.|
My golden rule is to remember that nobody thinks they're the villain. I think its important to always try to see yourself in other people. Everyone's got feelings, everyone's got struggles, and even if they've completely missed the mark, they're still usually trying to do what they think is right. You can't always put yourself in someone's place, but you can at least consider why they may think or act the way they do, even if you still hate them for it.
I mean, I suck at it, but I still think its important to always be trying.
|On the first date||Probably do something simple¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , like grab lunch, go for a walk around a pond, or catch a movie. We can hash out some things we're both into, and if we want, spend more time and cash to do something we'll both have a great time with on our next date.|
Or we could just get blindfolded and wander around the busy streets of Boston for a really surprising date
